My sister and I began weekly art lessons at the ages of eight and nine years old. Continually challenged by my art instructor, I grew to be very comfortable with a pencil in hand and pushed myself to excel with many different mediums. Constantly offering to paint murals on relativeʼs walls, as a young teenager, I couldnʼt seem to get enough of expressing myself with paint!
The challenge of watercolor and the soft, tender results that it can bring intrigued me from the very start of my art studies. Once I began to see how water can move color and learned the many techniques that can be used, I fell in love with this medium. Painting is therapy for me. I love to paint the wildlife of the northwest and have a passion to make my watercolors sing with light and love.
